EVERYTHING ELSE VIDEO
Beyond weddings and short films, I've worked on a significant amount of other styles of video projects. These include creating commercials for Regent University, Real Estate videography, mini-documentaries, and other promotional content. Below you can find a variety of these works.
DOCUMENTARIES
MIRO
Miro is a Ukrainian Refugee that our Church brought in with our housing program called "The Generation House." I created this project to promote the Generation House and to encourage Church members of the positive impact we are having on those in the world.
UBER DADS
UberDads is a project that I created along with a classmate to tackle the question, "Why are so many dads driving for Uber?" The goal of this mini-doc is to expose the difficulties that many dads face providing for their families in an ever-difficult economy.
HOMES IN BURUNDI
Role: Editor. All footage from Africa was taken by other team members.
Our church was able to send a small team to Burundi, Africa for the dedication of the first two houses built from our Year-End Giving Project. For the last several years, God has led the ministry Kick-Off to Hope to assist hundreds of vulnerable women and families. Safe housing is a major need in this village.
BRINGING THE WORD OF GOD TO THE MOI
Role: Editor. All footage from Africa was taken by other team members.
23 years ago, our Church sent off a young couple, Stephen and Carolyn Crockett, and their two daughters to reach the Moi people, a remote indigenous people group in Papua, Indonesia. Through their ministry, Stephen and Carolyn learned the Moi language and helped the people develop it into written form.
COMMERCIALS
Regent University
Quarterly Commercials
While working at Regent's Marketing department, I helped in creating the quarterly commercials that were streamed on standard streaming services like Hulu and cable TV.
REAL ESTATE
CoVA Realty
A real estate video tour of a $1.4M property in Virginia Beach. The goal of these real estate videos are to creatively show off the homes for potential buyers.
This video was filmed for CoVA Reality.
A real estate video tour of a $896K property in Suffolk, VA.
PODCASTS
CUTTING ROOM FLOOR PODCAST
The Cutting Room Floor began as a simple audio podcast. When I joined the team, I wanted to develop a simple video style that we could introduce to the Church members. I built a small studio space with a pallet wall and some minor set design. We keep a locked camera in the room to record each week. The goal was to create a self-sustaining, easy-to-use podcast room without me needing to be there for every recording.
